Amendment to the nofars bylaws
Did any club member receive a letter from the NOFARS club stating that the club was going to vote on amending article seven at the January 2024 club's meeting? If so do you have a copy of it?
Here is a copy of the NOFARS club's constitution & bylaws that John w4ijj passed out at the November club meeting. these were outdated when John passed them out. John has told me that back in at the January club meeting that the club voted to change article 7 to say something to the effect that the club could email members instead of the past article wording of "provided all members have been notified by mail of the intent to amend at said meeting". This would have meant that every member of NOFARS at the time of December 2023 or that time frame should have gotten a letter in the mail stating the clubs intent to amend article seven at the January 2024 meeting. I for one did not receive that letter. I would like to see the bank statement or check showing where the club paid for the expense for this mailing.
