John, w4ijj stated that Louis KM4YDT has donated 420 ft of 1/2” Heliax to the NOFARS Club.
That was a great gift to the club, I wonder what the club may do with it? It now resides in the old Wells Fargo building on a wooden spool.

The NOFARS club gave Louis KM4YDT, Mary W1ENT, and Adrian KN4IVW LIFETIME memberships, in consideration of the gift of the 420 ft of 1/2” Heliax.

GREAT job on both parties.

Now what will the club do with all that transmission line? I wonder. Maybee sell it at the upcoming tailgate / free flea!
It would be nice to see some pictures of the gift, I bet it looks sexy!

Thats awesome! That is a VERY generous gift, for sure, but that doesnt surprise me; Louis is a very generous man and one whose word can be counted on. Surely, they appreciate it, but that is a good question...what will become of it? Hopefully, we'll get the answer someday. Stay tuned!
